Just Curious why spend so much money and waste the time of those who are looking for a job?
I was told by the candidate that they knew they were getting the job in advance...
BS...there is NOT 3 candidates for every territory to begin with!!![/QUOTE
It is not BS! I just came back from an interview that 3 candidates per territory attended and had to stay for all 3 people to finish interviewing and an offer made, before anyone could leave.
lets face it, with so many managers and reps out of work, the first people that are going to be considered are going to be the hiring managers former district (if they were well liked by him or her and did a half way decent job) and are available
The upper hand goes to displaced employees from previous contracts. The reason for 3 candidates is to protect themselves legally. In the past they would simply place employees displaced. Along the way someone was told they were getting an opportunity but ended up not getting it so they sued. Therefore they need 3 candidates per territory to protect themselves.
Not true. Displaced employees that have done well may be the first to get a call to interview, but the advantage goes to the person that has some kind of personal connection with the hiring manager.
And to one of the previous posts - Yes, there ARE 3 people interviewing for every territory.
Well Said!!!
