Why do so many CL's hit "Reply All" to company announcements?

I agree with OP. It is fine to congratulate the person being promoted, but the ENTIRE COMPANY doesn't need to know it. Also, 34 replies bump off important emails from the iPad cache, as it can only store so many. It's a minor complaint of mine. Just send the person an email directly.
 












I gotta agree, the reply to all is nonsense unless you want to be seen for a personal reason. Email to the individual is more meaningful IMO because some will think its a duty to follow suit.
 






Equally annoying is that we just found one of you on a website concerning ethics in Kentucky. What an f'n joke. You wouldn't know ethics, if it was repeatedly forced into your dead brain, 24/7 via headphones. You are in dire need of a reality check, dumbass. You can change job titles, but that won't fix your problem.
