Job was not what you expected

Lack of career growth?

Culture. At one point Microfixation had a culture that few companies could match. Now it is just another wanna be Medtronic. When leadership changes so does the culture.

Definitely Lack of career growth. Once an engineer always an engineer. There is no career path or development. I'm glad I left when I did. 2 years and out for most engineers at this place.

When I was there we never even came out with a new product besides that lousy screw driver…. Ethan couldn't even build in reverse functionality.

I was one of the unlucky ones who got cut back when manufacturing went to Warsaw. I gave 20+ years to Biomet and all I got was my walking papers. Companies don't give a darn about employees. It is all about the bottom line and if anyone thinks any different you are fooling yourself.

After 20+ years all you received were your walking papers? Did you not receive a paycheck in all that time?
