I can’t figure out why they are taking several of my Belsomra customers and turning them over to a virtual salesforce. I sound like a robot saying this:
“Doctor, as Merck evolves as an organization, we recognize there are several channels by which we can serve and support our customers. Starting May 1st, I will no longer have responsibility for BELSOMRA with your office. Merck remains committed to BELSOMRA as a treatment option for appropriate, adult patients with insomnia. To support you and your office, you will have a virtual sales representative with dedicated responsibility to BELSOMRA. We anticipate you will find this to be a positive experience and supportive of your needs. A virtual representative will be reaching out to your office soon to ensure you have a point of contact for BELSOMRA. I can also provide you with a copy of your virtual representative’s contact information.
