The original sales force was hired last year for a Q4 launch. Two delays have pushed the launch date to October 7th. There's been some vacancies because some of the reps don't have confidence that the drug will successfully launch. Also recent layoffs have spooked a lot of the field force. I personally think Surfaxin will likely launch in October (70% probability) but no sure how successful Surfaxin will be. The sales of Surfaxin will pay for the salesforce so there's a lot riding on a successful launch.

Have the new reps been hired yet? A good question to ask is how many formulary wins have been achieved across the nation with Surfaxin. Reps have been promoting Surfaxin for over a year now and a lack of commitments at this poiny would be a bad bad sign.

Also, look at the stock price. Even after the approval the stock price is still below $2
