Why are so many leaving the Dynasty?

Dermatology is a place every Pharma rep want to be.
Dermatology still has agreeable customers who like reps.
Dermatology is a division at Amgen.

As a recruiter, it's perplexing to see so many Amgen people come to me and say, "just find me anything in derm with any other company except BMY"

What's happened over there? I mean, I get 5-7 new requests a week.

I wouldn't say every pharma rep wants to be in Derm. It is one of the easiest specialties to work but the flip side is it doesn't pay that well. People don't want to work at Amgen because we pay the least and measure success by metrics and BS.

I'm leaving soon. Everyone has their own reasons, but mine are two:

1-my RSD is a drunken, absentee, know nothing. He fakes everything. If that is what we promote, it tells me all I need to know about leadership's intentions
2-a competitor, with an actual dermatology pipeline, is willing to pay me over $3k more per month and the RSD I met actually knew dermatologists I call on.

our ED will cry to TO that she can't keep people around if that's what she has to pay, but I'd encourage her to read #1 over and over

She ran out a very respected, well accomplished RD for the fisherman too. The standing ovation for BJ at the NSM said it all. How did she follow up his announcement? Give KG coach of the year when she wasn’t on the derm team. From there, all downhill.

It's the culture.

Treated like primary care babies all because derm didn't integrate fast enough into the cult. That really pissed off IT and MG and they unleashed hell.

Go jump in a hot tub.

Look, if you have some extra time, you better be working on the 6 serious IC data issues.

Start with Bioplus and then move on from there.
Why would we care? We can see the demand generation that we need. The only ones who care are the idiot sales teams. If you don’t like it, quit. We’ll have no problem finding a Montana State graduate to replace you.

Dumb ass rep

UCB and Castle are flat cleaning us out of our remaining good reps.

When will someone realize you can't have a culture built entirely on the fake moves that worked in other divisions, with other brands, and think you will get a different result?

Maybe it's that there aren't any good reps, and that the drugs mostly sell themselves or don't regardless of who is there. It's not like most people can tell when they're useless.

$8B in q3 net demand disagrees with any of your idiotic rep sentiments
