Can anyone tell us the number of people laid off in R&D Rochester and the departments they were in?
Two people? Is that what you're saying got payed off?
Are you high? Payed off? I'm pretty sure the other poster was just explaining there's more to Bausch & Lomb than Rochester. I seriously doubt New York politicians would give a moment's thought to jobs in Missouri, or at any other facility on the planet affected by lay-offs (not pay-offs).
Valeant has Laid off Good Engineers and in St.Louis we still have Engineers who don't even work 40 hours. Like ( K. McB) We had an Engineer hired in March 2014 and he doesn't work 40 hours WHATS THE HELL!!! If Dave C. cared he would be doing something to stop this. If these people don't want their job quit!!!!
So you have stuff like that going on at your plant too? Unfortunate. At ours we frequently have people making up projects with tens of thousands of dollars of up front expenses in addition to of course all of the wages and benefits paid to the project teams to attempt to take out mere fractions of cost that will take years to recover or break even. Smoke and mirrors and funny finance math.
