Every time a discussion is started the conversation reaches a point where thinking people post facts about how poorly the ACA is working and when that happens the thread disappears. The last two posts on the now extinct "Obamacare Sucks" thread were from a contract worker at corporate who lost his insurance and was going to have to pay significantly more after visiting Healthcare.gov. My response was sarcastic and started with the Obama lie "If you have a plan and you like your plan you can keep your plan. Period." Now the thread is gone, is it CafePharma or Ventiv making that decision? Why is that decision being made?

I loved your post. You nailed it. I had a pretty good one too but this subject is so political, people get emotional. The supporters of 'you-know-who' refuse to deal in facts. Wonder what they'll do when they get hammered by the law. Many are still in denial because the employer-provided insurance bubble won't burst for another month. Probably blame Republicans for creating "roadblocks".

Obamacare is a disaster that will fundamentally change things in a bad, bad way. You will pay more, for less. Your cost will go way up, your deductible will go way up, your co-pay will go way up. You will pay for all kinds of things you don't want or need: mammograms, contraception, abortion, drug abuse treatment, and probably aromatherapy. Certainly counseling of some kind. Doesn't matter if you want or need it.
Your plan, the one he said you could keep, PERIOD, is "substandard"
I really need mammograms and contraception and abortion coverage... as a 58 year old Catholic guy who's had a vasectomy. I either smile while I buy all this s#it I don't need, or offends my religious beliefs, or I am stupid. And racist.

I just spent 20 minutes writing a review of ACA. They hd to 'review' it. I didn't throw any bombs or anything. Just an honest review.
