Who is reading these?

It seems that this site is predominately sales reps and maybe ARI maintenance? I'm curious who is reading and posting including non-Amgen and ex-Amgen. If you would, please post your department, company, or other identifier. Just curious who's here, what's the audience.

Me- ex Amgen in the last year, manufacturing, ATO site

Mostly irritated sales employees. The rest seem to be content or, don't have a clue.

Sounds like a HR ploy to ID employees who post here. This info could result in you being terminated especially at ARI.

This is Haywood Jablowme. Do you want my social security number too?

I'm not HR, and I wish Kevin were reading these. You can't be fired for posting here. There is no traceability. You don't have to answer, it was a sincere request and NOT from HR.

Just wanted to know who I was communicating with, is all.

Kevin would never look at these. I don't think he really listens to anything anyone below his Direct Reports. Ever. He is so insulated that he has little bearing on anything. To bad-some of the goings on at this company are really kinda evil.

This has to be one of the worst places to work.....yet it pays well. Corporate Culture, though, has more backstabbing that anything I have ever seen and I am in my 4th decade in BioPharma (under 50 years old tho) :)

Why single out ARI maintenance? Do you have initials or facts?
ARI has many unhappy employees here in many depts.

Just all the posts about LOTO and other indicators. Read for yourself. I may be incorrect so that is why I am wondering. It does seem like there are many unhappy people at ARI. I have been to ARI on several occasions, know many of the people and have my own perspective on it.

Here's who the past site heads have been- Efi, Kathleen, Dave, Kimball, now Tony. Does that add credibility?

Again, my purpose was to just understand who the audience is here. I think this forum can be used to make change if people start being serious and wielding it properly. i do believe there are cranks here as well as people from other companies trying to impact the boards.

So gather them together, use your numbers as power, discuss impactful things that can be done to fix the issues and start taking action. This country was founded on people using their voice to better the state of affairs. Quit whining, look first deep within yourself to see your contribution or lack of to the problems at hand, be brave, honest and true. Don't be like the leaders who whitewash the issues and won't look at their own failings as possible causes.

(Singing Man in the Mirror now). All joking aside, do something meaningful and brave if you don't like it.

I'm an ex-Amgen employee - worked for Amgen for 15 years. Was part of the reduction that took place in 2007. I've been struggling for consistent employment since then. I tried contract work, and would like to get back to steady employment with a company again (mostly need the benefits). I have moments that I miss being at Amgen and stay in touch with my ex-colleagues, and sometimes wish I could come back, but it seems Amgen is reluctant to take some of us back. - or they say they can't. Whatever.

I read some of these comments on this forum, and all I can say is be glad you are employed, because it's rough out there when you're not, and finding a job ain't easy.

Count your blessings, quit finding the negative in everything, as life is so short!
