Very incorrect. They do it all the time. There have been many whistle blower lawsuits and many articles written based on information provided on sites. Crawl back under the sheets friend and tell mommy to turn the heat up in the basement.
 




No serious, skilled, professional investigative journalist from a major news organization trolls the graffiti on bathroom wall for leads.

Now, I know what you're thinking ... "CNN" and "serious ... investigative journalist" don't belong in the same sentence. And of course you're right.

But let's just run with this notion ... that someone who works for CNN is actually trying to commit a random act of journalism. After all, if the angle is exposing big pharma and fat cat "1 %" 'ers, this become a little more plausible.

So, are we to assume there the practice of journalism is totally a lost art at CNN? There's not one single grizzled old veteran, demoted and exiled to cataloging the boxes of microfilm not yet discarded in the 3rd level basement, that someone could ask for knowledge?

"Hey, I heard that way back in the old days, journalists didn't just re-type and read the talking point handed out each morning by the DNC ... so how do you actually FIND news to write about?"

Any resourceful investigative reporter would have had names and contact information days before they'll get a serious response from this place.
