I have only heard of two managers in the southeast from EP. Who else is gone and where?

Clearly, these decisions were not based on performance. Was it interview based?
 












From what i hear it is ALL competency based..past performance, tenure, etc..are all negligible factors. That is why the assessments for reps was so important. They were asked to assess based on certain core competencies that will be required in the new positions. They are only taking people that they feel are good fits for the new roles. That is why only 60 or so DMs were retained even though there are 72 divisions.
If you are one of 5 reps in a city that will have 5 positions, you still are not safe. Some territories will not be filled by current employees.

Like I said- it isn't going to be pretty. I'm betting it's over 200 gone.
 




























































So sorry for all those good people that will be let go. I hope and pray that everybody lands somewhere as soon as possible. The managers and even SD's really don't have a thing to do with any of this. The SD's were in the dark and went through a hard interview process. Some good folks were let go. The DM's just went through it and some great DM's were let go. The reps will go through it next week and some great people will be let go. Pharma goes through this every year, those of us in device are just totally unaware of how bad this type of thing really is.
