Every company promotes off label. At Pfizer their motto is "If you aren't cheating then you aren't trying hard enough." The shame of this industry is that people at the top cheer this on supported by marketing but when the shit hits the fan, then they will find a few field sales people and low level managers to sacrifice as if they were against it from the beginning. The Capt may go down with the ship but the Admiral never does.
If I was a manager or rep in Chicago area I would be scared now because AZ will come after you like a pitbull goes after a sirloin steak.
 




The PhARMA guidelines are a joke! If the government really wants to ensure no off-label use, put some one in jail! Like the leaders of the organization. The multi million dollar law suits are not discouraging because the profits that are gained from the off label use far outweigh the fines. Put a senior leader in jail if we really want to hold this industry accountable.

Never happen because the politicians are in bed with big Pharma. They make a little stink to bring in some money to fund the FDA's luxurious meeting outings and then Pharma can raise their prices so the consumer ends up paying for all of it. Drain the Swamp.

All of the CNS reps were displaced last year. No one left to blame but the sales and brand leaders who are now on the CVMD team pushing things unethically. And there is no way those fools will go down.

Moving over to CNS was a trap that many should have seen coming. This was part of the AZ's long term strategy of eliminating many veteran (high salaried) sales reps, many of whom were legacy Zeneca who qualified for the defined pension. These people have been their prime layoff target for years but there are only a handful remaining and most of them will be gone soon too.

Curious to know how many with Legacy DBP reps were moved over to "CVMET" and how many were put into the CC role after the dissolution of CNS. I bet most of the tenured reps were thrust into the role that was known to be dismantled 2 months later by senior leaders.

You BETCHA they were. AZ has been eliminating senior legacy Zeneca people over the last decade.
It is a lead part of every annual strategic plan. They want them off of their books. They did the same thing with retirees health benefits capping them at $25K which is a joke. Remember when Zeneca people were told that when they retired Zeneca would take care of their health care for life?

Agreed. If you were from AstraMerck then you are in the high salary veteran category and are probably already gone. If not you soon will be. There are a lot of talented people who began with AstraMerck but this company cannot afford bright and talented people in a job so dummied down that a recent H.S. graduate could do it.
