How many people can you fit in your clown car? Not sure how long youve been doing this but most older drugs that are in a market with numerous new devices and drugs released every year struggle with market share. Not to mention the fluctuations in ownership and all the chaos from leadership. I think the funniest and ironic part of this post is that this same person will be here posting about how hard it is to sell xiidra and whining in two months lol. (Also whinny has two n’s champ)
 












Yes, keep working hard to get scripts, you are all very important…. Except the ones we let go in a couple of weeks, you aren’t important. Thank you for the few extra scripts you got us before you are gone.

You nailed it! our fate is sealed. They know exactly what is going to happen and they want to make us feel like every last script until then might actually make a difference. My manager had the audacity to tell me performance always matters in these situations. I’ve been at the top and known people at the top who were cut from other companies simply because of where they lived in relation to targets/buisness. Performance generally has very little to do with these decisions because they know a monkey could do this job. They just need a warm body in the territory/geography to “sell”

This is accurate! Let’s be honest our fates are sealed. They know exactly what is going to happen and who will be cut. It has nothing to do with performance. It will all be about where you live and the viable business there. Unless you’re on a pip and it’s between you and someone not on a pip, that’s the only way performance would be taken into account. They know a monkey could do this job. It’s just about having a warm body in the right geography to make nice with offices. They just want to get a few more scripts out of people until they have all the legal/HR paperwork squared away to make their announcement so they don’t get sued

HA!! let's be honest.. Miebo is nothing more than a glorified tear... doctors are curious about it and are trying it. Most already know that it doesn't target inflammation. Miebo will rise and fall quickly. And Bausch marketing is off.. these sucrose will use it... but not where you think... and you'd be best to let them tell you where it works. Not to mention miebo reps telling docs to use it in severe DE patients .. just to get a script. You're strabbsling yourself in the foot for future scripts.
The next month will be interesting and I totally agree,... there will be a huge exodus after the March bonus payout.
Let the games begin!

You’re spot on. Miebo is an over the counter drug in Europe that the FDA is allowing us to make money on in the US because of the healthcare system fuckery. It’s not top of the class and will be expensive for most patients for the first few years it’s out on the market.
 






B&l upper management couldn't find their assholes with a mirror, a spotlight and a stick! Hopefully those who get laid off will find new jobs because you will NOT get a decent severance!

If you were a Novartis rep and you get let go, you’ll get a Novartis severance. I believe this is paid by Novartis which makes me think B&L will cut more ex-NVS reps than B&L reps because then the money for severance isn’t coming out of B&Ls pockets.

This right here goes to show B & L and these clueless B & L reps have no idea about coverage in the dry eye market. I'm directing this to you BRAD! I know you read these forums you admitted that to us in NJ! The reason xiidra is in decline genius, is due to B&L throwing $$ at KOLs around the country to speak and support miebo. In addition, its absolutely FREE (for now) and accounts dont even have to fill out a PA, deal with denials, or patient call backs that it's too expensive, etc. In addition to that, battle all the cyclosporines in the market! To all the B & L reps: I CANNOT wait until you get xiidra in your bag in the coming months, and have to fight for xiidra scripts (especially on med d) against restasis and generic cyclosporine. Xiidra reps will get the last laugh when miebo's "free trial" run is over and you'll soon have to hand hold office's to try to get it pulled through. "What do you mean i have to step through restasis, xiidra, or generic cyclo to get it apporved?!" Hahahaha!! you have no clue what you are in for!! Every office i've been to tells me they have piles of PA's for miebo but don't have to fill them out right now because blinkrx is filling the script without hurdles. Wait till they have to fill those out and it goes through the patient's insurance only to get a $700 price at the pharmacy. Enjoy your cute little launch while it lasts, 2024 will be a rude awakening for you all, including management. Brent himself admitted when we were in NJ, in his Allergan/restasis days, they did everything possible to block xiidra from gaining access to plans. Now he's gotta face the monster he created and fix xiidra market access if he truly wants to see it gain market share. The market isn't going to just keep growing Brent, it's very saturated now with way too many dry eye products. All along the while they have a new dry eye product in the mix that they are promoting 1st line over xiidra. Restasis to this day DOMINATES on majority of med d plans; with generic cyclo, and now miebo in the market it's only making it worse for xiidra to grow. Miebo is just a small distraction for the moment, it too will face the same challenges once this honeymoon phase is over. All that said, I hope no one is out there working until they find out if they have a job or not. For now, we await our fate in the coming weeks. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Most B&L reps have been selling Vyzulta P1 for years. Maybe you should educate yourself about that product, before assuming we have no idea what pull through is. I hope everyone is retained in the next few weeks. Happy Thanksgiving

Certainly wish the best for everyone. It is very unfortunate that the leadership here has created so much anxiety for their employees. In the end, they really don’t care about their people. They only care about themselves. Spare us all the insult the next time you- BS, AS, YB, and BF- address your remaining people and act like you care for any of us. Many use to be proud to wear the B&L logo. Times have changed.
