Which division pays the most?

Because oncology is still shut down to industry. Ophthalmology is wide open so they’re actually working

Oncology is not shut down, depends on the account but most community practices are open you just have wear a mask. We do not get paid enough for the access obstacles, metrics and challenges we face. Derm pays just under what we make with no stress (at least at most derm companies) and Opth pays more than we make.

What is the typical oncology salary?

It's all over the board but I'm pretty sure starting point is $180k and that's the case at 90% of oncology companies. Reach out to your friends or recruiters and they will confirm this. Also hearing ranges from $195 up to $210k for experience. Opth I have heard $200-220k. Derm, not sure of starting point but I have heard $170 and know of derm companies offering more but those opportunities are rare.

Ophthalmology doesn’t pay a base of 200+, that would be a combination of base and bonus
