Same with me Van Smack. My Dad and I were watching. I always thought that Al Downing grooved that Pitch, like Denny McLain did, when Mickey Mantle passed Jimmy Fox. Denny already had 30 wins under his belt.

However it happened, it was a real athlete not some pompous, steroid bloated asshole like the next 3 guys who broke the individual season records.
