LM gave it to us straight. She was far from perfect but at least we knew what we were getting with her. LM or any other real VP of sales would never accept these draconian cuts in the sales force for oncology. The revenue for the oncology is not being reduced drastically. OB knows shit about oncology. He wants oncology to subsidize his mistakes in primary care. By the way, wasn't OB supposed to be better anyway? Is the current situation better for us than last year?
LM knew less about oncology than most primary care reps, as she had no oncology experience and was turned down for promotion from the NBO to the OBU at Amgen. OB is useless as well but LM, nor CS would have done anything to “save us”. LM spent millions on consultants since she did not understand the oncology market, she then set up the most illogical oncology sales force deployment anyone has ever witnessed along with the worst bonus plan many have ever seen and oh and btw she was a bully to most people and was not liked by most people. Arguing about who was better or worse is like arguing about what seat was safest on the Hindenburg.
