where is doug?

I doubt he stayed--most executives are leaving the company even if they are asked to stay. Pyott, Doug, Scott etc are going to move on. If they stayed it would be to transition but I doubt they would stay knowing its not the same Allergan.

Disgusting. Guess he is no longer in the boat.

How is that "disgusting"? You think he or Pyott had a choice in terms of whether to sell Allergan? Better for Actavis to get it than Valeant, and better for him to stay involved and help at least shape the new company than just leave. You're a moron and so are so many other people on this board who are absolutely clueless.

Once AGN was in play, they really didn't have a choice. What were they doing in the years before Ackman & Pearson saw how bloated and unproductive the company was? [retorical]

This is wrong. It would have been better for Valeant to buy us. You listened to the hype that was created by certain upper management at allergan in order to create noise in the marketplace and drive up prices to line theirpockets. You are really the moron. They DID have a choice. The talks with Valeant started over a year before the story broke. Pyott was pimping the company to a few buyers who could pay his price. This was all by design. Activis, like any other company in a buyout, does not want to KEEP any of these people. Some will remain to transition. Others will be stripped of all power andput to pasture. They usually leave because they are used to power and ego and cannot sustain themselves without it. Pyott, from personal experience is THAT person. He has a huge ego.

Seems like youre the moron! Pyott had options long ago that he didn't exercise. This entire nightmare could have been avoided and any fool who thinks differently is smokin' bad crack! Activis is absolutely NO different than Valeant. R and D suffered huge cuts and all that is left is Activis' token group of people who undoubtably will be hitting the road more sooner than later when they decide not to fund them and stick to generics, formulation or branded products. Pyott due to his greed, destroyed Allergan and Gavin must be fuming about it. It's worth writing a book about. Company started above a pharmacy, turns into perhaps the most successful specialty pharma company in the world only to get bought by a company that takes the 5th best research and discovery group trashes it and eventually closes the doors! How F'ing tragic is that because of 1 stupid CEO!???????

He is not stupid. He is clever and therefore laughing his way to the bank with millions in his pocket while leaving the employees high and dry. He is therefore a great leader.

Laughable- You got to be one stupid ass to think he is that bright. It's a good ole boy network and find me anyone here at AGN that thinks he isn't an arrogant slime bag. His leadership is profoundly insulting.
