Where are people going?

where are people taking new jobs? I can't seem to find anything out there. I don't want to go to pharma and everything seems to be surgical and they want experience. Medreps isn't generating any interviews. My time here has been too long and my experience doesn't seem to be very interesting to anyone. I'm getting very discouraged and not making enough money to stick it out anymore even though i do like what I am doing. Please no immature sarcastic responses.

It's not that your experience isn't interesting.... It's just that it's not impressive and no one gives a fuck. Lolololol!! I suggest Enterprise.

That is dead wrong. Survival at Zoll for any amount of time is extremely impressive. All the recruiters know this. Pharma is not what it used to be, there are a lot of smaller startups or biotechs that have much improved cultures and leadership. Also the cardiomems and new holters offer many new opportunities that are in line with your experience. Be aggressive, the opportunities are out there. Leaving Zoll will be the biggest relief of your life.

I never met anyone who didn't enjoy what they were doing for the patient. That is the only reason people stick it out when the money dries up. Just keep searching, and don't be silly about what industry. There are plenty of great companies where you can go and contribute, and enjoy the company culture. I went to a small start up pharma company, and I'm having a blast. I have more ownership then I ever did at ZOLL (none), that will move me a close to retirement. Good luck
