Ask yourself why Harris/Biden attacked medicines that took Multi Billions to develop and bring to market. As we have healthy coverage and patient assistance. For meds such as Xarelto. If you vote for them then you are voting to Weaken your very job.
BMS already has Eliquis in a secondary position. So too late for now but what about future meds we are asked to sell. Like the Xla or others. The company actually supported these people.
 














Oh please. Xarelto has about one year left and the pricing doesn’t go into effect until 2026. Layoffs are going to happen regardless. This is what I call an over reaction.

Did you not read the post. Or are you a DEI champion who has a job regardless. This has nothing to do with any particular class of meds. This is an attack on our business- this is Cafepharma not Troll pharma. Why risk 1-5b to gain a breakthrough to then bow to price fixing. If you look at JNJs annual report. There have been multi-billions spent searching for a cure to Alzheimer’s. No results thus far but yet the research continues. Something to be proud of. Canada does not produce new medicines, neither does Eastern Europe, India, China etc. 98% of breakthrough therapies come from the US, Western Europe or Japan. Please think on this when your loved one is in the hospital. If you don’t understand this please educate yourself. Prove this post to be incorrect.

The irony is that the very medications we shell out big bucks for in the US are practically a steal in foreign countries. We invest billions in R&D, yet they sell globally for pocket change. Maybe it’s time to charge other countries a little extra so they can help us recoup our expenses—after all, sharing is caring, right? To make America great again, let’s focus on making prescription drugs as affordable as a fast-food burger—because why should we need a passport just to fill a prescription?

That is a great point. If the rest of the world paid more we could charge less in the states. Why should the US carry the rest of the world. It’s capitalism that allows for crazy amounts of money to be at risk to look for new breakthroughs.
