Anyone know when we will get notice of the layoff date? This week? Can anyone on the inside confirm? the 22nd is quickly approaching!
Would love for my manager to cancel her ride with this week. I have the stress of whether or not I have a job-- don't feel like dealing with her in my car too.

You will be notified, all right. Notified the same day, that is. You'll be brought to a conf room, and given a bunch of paper to sign. If you don't sign, you don't get the RIF package. Then you'll be given a box to pack your miserable belongings and get the hell out of here. With security escort if needed.

Of course, the whole process will be handled with the utmost respect and compassion.
