When will BI back out of the contract?

Jardiance and Emgality are sucky drugs to sell.

Actually there is no selling at this point with me a too Jardiance that gets pummeled by the GLP-1 market and Mounjaro.

Emgality - yawwwnnnn. Maxed out last year and now losing share to the new oral drugs. Nothing new to promote with Emgality so it is obvious that the company is just letting it go. I'm sure they bleed it dry for 1-2 more years which sucks for the reps as we just take it on the chin

Time for you to leave ..yawnnnn

Nah ….. I sample drop my offices where I can & if I can’t see them then o just enter it as an office call every so often.
Just hit my metrics, my providers know who I am for when my DSM is with me = profit

You just described 95% of PC3 unless you live in the south ..maybe

Mounjaro is killing the SGLT2 market anyway. In the next 2 years, SGLT2s will only be used if an HCP uses them for their indication like CV or CKD.
Mounjaro will have a CV indication within 2 years so in the near future SGLT2s will primarily be used for CKD only.
Jardiance will be the new Januvia but with a CKD indication as the market just has better options in reducing A1C & weight.

Plus Mounjaro will be getting more indications than just CV.

Mounjaro is a beast that is just scratching the surface. Jardiance is an old sinking drug. It will have a place for a long time & is a good drug but it’s need will be dwindling.

PC3 is just stuck with Jardiance because of the contract & Lilly isn’t gonna let that contract go. All we have to do is hit some stupid call metrics and we get paid. LMAO at BI. Their reps hate us because they know we don’t get paid hardly any commissions as twos so we don’t give a flying F about selling JR. Plus we just need to hit our P1 JR calls and about 8 calls a day and we are employee the rest of our lives at Lilly

Pc3 will be gone within the next year. No reason to keep them around at all. It been nice knowing y'all.

That is very unlikely. We have at least two more years on the contract, and Lilly needs us to fulfill the terms of said contract (reach & frequency, etc.); not to mention the contract salesforce will be the first to be cut before actual Lilly reps.
Also, Lilly's pipeline is ridiculously robust, so when the contract does eventually come to an end, there is a good chance we will be transitioned to a different therapeutic area, or just have another diabetes product in our bag.
Of course, in the event we are laid off, well, so what? This is pharma..People get laid off all the time..So, if it happens to us in a couple of years, we will take our severance package, add Lilly to our resume along with a couple of years of Diabetes & migraine experience, and move on to the next opportunity; which most likely will be higher paying!
So, thank you very much for your concern, but I assure you, the PC3 team will be just fine.

Have a great day!

The BI contract runs through 2028.
Our pipeline has the Alzheimer’s drug that will most likely get approved & an obesity indication for tirzepitide …both by the end of next year.

Not even counting the specialty drugs that will be launched over the next 2 years, so there are lots of opportunities and job security at Lilly.

PC3 actually has the easy job at the moment. Just maintain JR & EM. So keep offices in samples & remind them of formulary coverage and their job is done. Easiest time in pharma is just maintaining a drug after it’s been established
