When is the next lay-off

I can’t stand working for this POS company. But I want to hold out for my severance. What is everyone’s best guess on when the next primary care lay-off will be?

Actively look seriously and don't worry about the lay-off. There's good jobs out there and you get a jump on applying before the lay-offs happen. My friend JUST got a job after the "last" lay-off. Yea they got their severance but there was no job so the severance had to be used to live on. Go for the better job.

I wasn’t looking for career advice. Let me ask the question again....when is the next lay-off?

No don't give me practical advice just some BS to make me feel good..

How would you have any idea if this is practical advice. You have no idea what market I work in, how long I have been here, how much severance I could be leaving on the table, my age, etc.

Leaving isn’t always practical advice. Maybe staying is.....depending on when the next lay-off is. That’s why I asked a specific question and didn’t ask for career advice. So go f*ck yourself!

What an angry dick!

Why would one leave that has many years of service.

Takeda is such a cheap me too company you can literally skate by... from what I’ve seen no wonder their “golden product” has a 1 share after being on market for so long. They don’t invest in crap! Why push for managed care wins... let’s just ask for the scraps.

With this mentality; ride it out and when time is up- collect the severance.

The future is rare diseases; corporate has said itself on town halls—- managed care access is a hinderance; go for the Uber rare diseases and meds where they can charge thousands and nobody can do crap about it.

Takeda is where average is good
