When HR runs the place

At what point does a company push back on HR running this place? I've never seen a company with an HR division this large and the internal hate within HR is something for the books. Not just bad leaders but terrible humans running HR getting their kicks from bullying people.

You can't even complain to HR because the person writing up your report feels the exact same way and can't do a thing about it! Someone stop the madness!

I don't care which company you work for, but *never* go to HR complaining about anything. You *will* be the target. HR is not there to look out for you/the employee. Their job is to protect the employer at all costs. They will go to any unethical extent and align with the person higher up the chain, regardless of who is at fault.

This advice should serve you for the rest of your life in your career.

Just make your money, stay quiet, and leave when an opportunity arrives. Exact Sciences is not the kind of place that you worry about fixing (you can't). Absolute unethical bozos are now at the top of the ladder, across the board. Yes, I've seen what you describe about HR. This was in R&D as well.

Spot on as a former SSS I went from make 96k base here to 130k at new company there is money out there. It’s all the same bullshit so if you gotta eat shit make sure you’re getting paid more for it.

100% agree base at Exact is depressingly low other companies will easily pay $120-$130k base for people making $90K at Exact. I left for the same reason and am so much happier for it. Place was chaos but it makes for great stories calling on a lot of the same accounts
