When giving two weeks notice question.

are they required to pay you for the two weeks? I know they pull you immediately, but my friend who works for BI was paid for the two weeks. That was in PA. Any insight here?

they gotta pay you for the 2 weeks plus your PTO
You will be paid for 2 weeks, told Not to go in the field and then the clustermuckers get involved and take a month to pick up your car!
Make sure you transfer important files to an external drive and ship back the ipad & laptop ASAP (this will hold up your final Paycheck). You will be paid 2 weeks + PTO + bonus If you were Employed on the last day of the incentive plan. This is Your Plan! No exit interview (Hahaha) and no final meeting with your douche bag manager to say Good bye

That works. Can't wait to pull the plug on this shit hole job. Micromanaging dipshit manager with an ass larger than dallas.

When you give your notice, a few things occur. You submit an email to your DM simply stating you are resigning with an effective date( 2 weeks hence in general). That email is then forwarded to HR who alerts property recovery ( car, computer, samples, etc...) plus incentives and payroll. Basically your final check is calculated; including those 2 weeks, and you indeed do get paid on schedule. It's a very simple and often occurring event
