The executive decision to force the reps to spend the majority of their time begging for Zostavax doses for the last 3 years was a complete failure. If they would have left reps calling on pediatrics and a group calling on primary care, they wouldn't have to keep reorganizing every 3 to 4 years. We were multi specialty in name only. Pediatrics and hospitals were barely called on. Now that we have a couple new pediatric vaccines coming and we spent very little time in pediatrics for the last few years, leadership is now slowly reacting to the fact that we now need to focus back on pediatrics which is the bulk of our business.
