HR usually does a "background search" after an incident occurs or a bad performance on the job. It is expensive and a cya step. HR has an outsource Indian company to call your references, check for criminal record, and debts and they are mostly very positive. How do you think you jokers go your jobs?

BM should have been screened out during interviews. If the interviewers are incompetent then they hire a moron.
