how are these guys competing out there against stryker, storz, s&n, wolfe, etc etc etc? was contacted about an opening. i'm skeptical cause i haven't seen too much of them out there. any feedback? comp expectations? management?
 
























could you please expand on the "repair" side? thanks

These instruments require repairs from time to time and can run as high as 10k per repair. You sell contracts to hospitals for say 60k for year to cover all instruments at the facility. You get your money up front and the hospital thinks they are saving money. Most never use all of the contracted amount but you never have to refund any unused it just rolls over to the next contract. Because not many third party companies are very good at repairs or have good reputations Olympus makes about a third of their income off of repairs and repair contracts.
