Whats the base and a realistic bonus here?

can someone please let me know, foreclosure looming ahead and I need a job!

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your position! Obviously if you look around, you'll see that this place just seriously blows. But, if you're desperate and need some cash, this is could be a great place to work while you look for a real job. A lot of people use it as a paid job search. Just do yourself a favor, don't even think about getting comfortable here. They'll churn and burn you, so it's better to be the one that does the burning than getting burnt!

Ouch. Thanks for the honest, real answers....I guess. It doesn't sound like the best job but it beats no job. I have been looking at some other lab services companies and the theme sounds similar. It's this or a contract pharma job, which has a set end date. I should have gone to law school!

Ok, I have a offer from AIT and Calloway. Base and bonus are about the same and most doctors are using AIT in the territory. Who should I go with. Input please

Calloway has it's own issues, but I think the leadership there is at least stable. AIT's problem is at the leadership level. You have one guy that's seriously going a bit senile running the place. He has personally fired or driven out at least four VPs over the span of a couple years. The only VP that has remained over the past few years is his wife.

Embarrassing, isn't it?

If most are using AIT then go with Calloway. Better opportunity to grow and be able to obtain bonus by stealing AIT customers away. AIT will screw up sooner than later and you will be able to capitalize.

No kidding, ethics is about the only thing AIT has left to hang its hat on. A really good RSM and AE got fired for collecting samples illegally. We don't try to screw Medicare/Medicaid by over-confirming like some labs.

Good ethics????? Seriously????? Ethics is directly related to morale principles. If this company had ethics, do you think a good RSM and AE would have been fired? A great AE wouldnt have "lost" her territory. The people responsible would have been compliance. They should have determined this a long time ago. They should have been put out on their ass.

If your employees aren't important to you, then you are screwed. We are all screwed.

Advice: get the hell out before they screw you. Find recruiters on LinkedIn. I hope they are tracking my phone. Because I am home looking for a job!

Have any proof to this? It's all well and good to boast on a website about ethics, but to actually prove it through concrete evidence is an entirely different story.

How about this... You prove to me that AIT has ethics. If you've taken just a few minutes to read over the threads here, you'll see plenty of evidence to the contrary.

Ethics starts at the top. At the top you have Dr. Evans. This man has managed to dig this company into an incredible amount of debt that it will never be able to pay off. He has then fired every single VP over the past 4 years, other than his wife. These were all bright and talented people who called him out for his reckless ways.

Ethics? This guy? Now that's a good laugh!

The FL area RSM/SAE were let go because they cost too much and crossed Bob. If you think it was compliance, consider this. A few years ago, the SAE in question once circulated a picture through the company in which she was holding a common phallic shaped device that is used to provide a substitute urine specimen. I believe it is called a "Whizzenator" or something of the sort. The picture was passed from department to department, including "C" level types, to demonstrate how strong AIT was on stopping diversion. It was common knowledge that the SAE caught the violator while doing a collection in FL. One might think she should have been written up or fired for compliance issues at that point, but times were good and everyone chuckled about what a great job AIT does for the clients.

Another point to consider. If you are an AE and have ever done a collection during an inservice, without having a Provider Agreement signed, then you are non compliant. By collecting a specimen, you are acting as a CT and a contract should be signed, even if no CT is going to be placed in the office at a future date.

Face it, if they want you gone, they will find a way. There are still some good people at AIT but the numbers are decreasing quickly. If you remain there much longer, you are either stupid and unemployable or loyal to a fault. When you think about it, in today's business climate, stupidity and loyalty are one in the same. I'm just saying

The SAE in Florida should have been gone long ago. The volume coming out of Florida before her never would have supported that position let alone 2 AE's. why she was promoted to SAE, was puzzling. Everyone knew she was acting a a CT.

The current RSM's, would never last at a normal company. How many days are they in the field?

AIT WAS a good place to work.

The current RSM's are not qualified to work the drive through window at a fast food restaurant. I agree that AIT was a good place to work. Too bad.
