I don't understand why everyone here complains and direct their rage at others.

Take it easy, this is just a stupid job that pays 6 figures.
Relax, get your signatures, go home early and have another business on the side.
My combined income is over 250k.

Let everything roll off your back! Who gives a damn?
Do something else meaningful with your life, this job is
as easy as a paper route. What's there to complain about?

I actually worked 3 medical sales jobs at once! While I was on an LOC, of course. Point taken, don't make your life this stupid job.

Yes, it all has to do with Tenure. I was at forest for 8 years with a base in the 80s plus making 20 to 30k in commission every year. AnyOne that has started in last few years did not benefit from the 10 to 15 percent raises we used to get on base salaries each year

This is very true - except it's way more than a couple dozen reps making six figures. And I am not talking total comp - that is base. Most people with 10+ years are at or over 100K base, especially if they had any significant degree of success early in their careers, or if they took a promotion or two (even if they did eventually get demoted or stepped back to a rep again). There is also the hospital team, who routinely hires people with hospital experience and pays them well over 100K base, and many of the long tenured OBSR people. I would bet there are close to 200 reps between all the sales forces with bases over 100K, and honestly that might be low because Hospital has A LOT of high salary reps.

Sorry, Mr 75K base - it's true - many make more money than you. And saying "this poster is BS" or "it's not true" doesn't change the fact that it IS true.

You can actually earn pretty good coin a Forest if you don't let the DM BS get to you. Work smart - not hard. Many top 50% performers are working 3-4 days a week - they just don't waste their time on useless non-productive activities. They may tell their DM they do - and they may enter a few phantom calls to back it up - but they make their productive calls, drive sales, go home, and get paid!
 


















Seems like way too many reps have figured out how to forge Drs signatures just to make fake calls. How wrong is this?

You don't need to forge signatures. Just add some docs to non-sampled calls, and don't cry when your DM talks to you about your sample % being too low. Just say "ok, I will work on that" and redirect to another topic. And then keep posting good numbers.

Nobody gets fired for not sampling enough. You get fired for not sampling enough if your numbers are consistantly bad. So produce - drive sales - EARN YOUR MONEY. but do it smart, and don't let every little DM knit-picking comment bother you!

To the poster above - does Forest want reps who work/try hard, or reps who produce? I bet they would take a salesforce of producers over those that "try hard" but fail. SHareholders don't gain value in their investments by having 8000 employees try hard - they gain value when we PRODUCE as a company. So please stop pretending every territory needs equal activity- that every situation is identical and requires the same number of calls, samples, or L&L's. We get paid on results, not activity. And while I do realize that good activity should lead to better results, this entire string started because our management team has no ability to differentiate between productive activity and useless activity!

Nonproducers get promoted as long as they are YES people. Then these Dumb-Dumbs believe working harder is the only answer. Wonder why???

We should start asking the Drs to ask the DMs to detail them when they ride with us. The Drs could use a good laugh listening to these clowns stutter around trying to sound like they know how to detail. Hell,, the RDs and ABDs would be even more comical. Try it on your next tag alongside and post how funny it is.

good idea but first learn how to spell. Then learn how to sell then we will talk.

10,000 sounds high for a 7 year rep - even if he was President's club every year. He might be puffing up that total a bit....

But a RD definately would have that amount, and successful DMs and Reps easily could be sitting on thousands of options, especially since few have exercised anything the past few years.

A buyout at $50 would have A LOT of people celebrating a huge payday!
