What will it take to get Brent Saunders fired?

Brent Saunders had been at the helm of Allergan for about three years now. In that time the stock has gone from about $320 to less than $140. In between there have been major screw ups, like the failed Pfizer deal and the asinine sale of the Restasis IP to an Indian tribe. The man had $40 billion dropped on him by the dopes at Teva, mostly in cash, and he even screwed that up.

What will it take for this sub-moron to finally get the unceremonious boot to the curb he deserves?

Maybe when the stock gets to the low teens? Maybe then he’ll get canned? But who’s going to can him? The board is stacked with his own cocksuckers. David Tepper can get rid of his ass and he’s salivating right now. There’s been blood in the water for over 2 years but never more than right now.

Tepper will have Saunders head on a pike.

Once the stock goes below 1 for 30 days and the stock is de-listed maybe the board will act. The board needs to be voted out as they have not provided change. I guess they feel they're BOLD for for their lack of action when it comes to Saunders. If a rep had a similar track record they would have been gone years ago.

dont forget all of the employees who were laid off because of how he handled restasis.

And don’t forget all of the loyal employees who quit because of the clusterfuck that remains

And don’t forget about the cost of hiring new employees to fill those newly opened positions including screening, interviewing, and training

It’sad, but I hope Tepper will get more aggressive and push for change. Don’t forget to add International powewhatever to the list of stupid things. The US has no idea about the mess that International is....

Good old boy club notwithstanding, how can the board justify rewarding him with continued employment? If ANY employee overseeing a department or territory had that record they would have been gone long ago. His time here is done as a leader. Kiss my bold ass cheeks, Brent.

Give the dude just a touch of respect. He's just as surprised as anyone to have found himself in this position of CEO. His cadre of lawyers assured him that he'd have a package of mishmash companies to fold into Pfizer.

Well, they were wrong. He's an M&A CEO, not an ops CEO.

That stock price reflects it.

Then again, the damage done to three fine, independent, well-operating companies is astonishing. Culture? Destroyed. Sense of purpose? Demolished.

Quality talent, goodwill, and loyalty? Gone. Off to greener pastures.

Meh.

Virtually impossible to have Saunders canned. Tepper can try all he wants and Saunders will hold up his middle finger to those who have expressed doubts in his leadership like he already has done. Unless AGN gets bought and there is change in control and the new company says adios to Saunders, we are stuck with him. Unless this topic gets on a shareholder vote and he is voted out, we are stuck with him.

The morons who vote to make Saunders CEO/BOD should take note. This is why you never should have your CEO become the BOD with croonies who prosper under the strong arm of a CEO/BOD. The Board has zero incentive to remove Saunders cause any new CEO if worth a damn will replace the board.

Saunders is as stupid as they come yet being paid oodles to lose money for shareholders. At some point the axe will have to fall and unfortunately its those of us that own this POS stock that will lose out. An here lies the problem with Corporate USA. This Shit should be changed and laws should be written to govern this kind of fraudulent behavior not be tolerated.

True, Saunders can always get his friend Icahn to jump in and save him. The board is useless and also controlled by him and his friends. At this ridiculous stock price, It won’t take long for Allergan to be bought. Also, these two new class actions will need to be settled out of court. Imagine what the DOJ and FCPA would find if they look at what’s going on around the globe inside Allergan.

I don't know what legal team agreed to that plan but it definitely backfired. Not only did they lose the patents anyway but they lost a ton of credibility and good will too.

Still no generic Restasis though. I find that a bit encouraging.

Brent won't be fired. He will sell the company before being fired. Good for him, senior execs and Wall Street.
No real ideas other than cut people.

pretty sad that the aesthetics division is what it is. At the meeting I was fully disgusted by the fact Chris W. who is known to sleep with his reps is all smiles and still employed. I have worked for him for years and I cannot stand the sick sexual harassment that goes on with my division.
