Ideally, someone with fresh ideas, an understanding of the managed care landscape, reasonable expectations... you know, a solid human being.

But we know that won’t come from an internal hire and you’d have to be crazy to join this shit show from the outside. So I think we hire a chimp who throws shit at the wall. At least it would be entertaining even though it’s what we’ve had in our past 2 NSDs.
 






What we need now is someone who realizes and understands that being covered is different than being affordable. A 300 to 500 dollar copay for medicare patients is no coverage at all. They will not pay the copay for those who don’t understand.

Hopefully NEW blood will come in and convince the old relics in the ivory tower that pharma model today is different than it was 20 years ago.

We don’t have good enough commercial coverage to get those 1st line scripts. Some plans yes but they are the smaller plans, not big plans.

The end game is a sale of Rayaldee, most likely suitor would be Vifor hence the refusal to price the drug realistically in order to protect a mis-perceived value of the franchise. Frost ain’t going to live forever and he wants his money now. And if you haven’t figured it out yet he has zero respect for his employees unless they attend the same temple.
