What % of Sun employees have resigned in the past year ?

If you combine all the members of senior leadership (NSDs etc), MSLs, FRMs, Market Access, Marketing, RSMs, TMs, etc, it’s more than half is my estimate. Ilumya launched mid to late October and its been unprecedented number of resignations. I really think it’s too late to turn this around especially now Skyrizi has launched. We missed our window of opportunity to find our niche. We are also grossly outnumbered in the field. We have one TM vs 2-3 reps of each of our competitors. So many missteps and f**k ups. Huge disappointment.

What is the future of biologics at sun? Layoffs seem out of the question considering half have left and ton of territories are open. Will they just expand territories and not rehire?

My territory is huge. I overlap with 6 Skyrizi reps.

Abbvie having 3 reps is overkill per area. Offices and docs hate it. You can easily have anywhere from 3, 6, 9 Abbvie reps depending on territory size. Add in all the multiple Janssen, Lilly, Novartis, Celgene reps no wonder offices are tightening access because it’s too much, too disruptive to their day. When we aren’t bringing anything new to the visit, no real value, even food doesn’t help the conversation.
1 Ilumya rep vs the army of reps we face sucks.

They are rehiring is plan. No talks of layoffs. Powers that be feel all this change, especially with senior leadership, will be the change we need.
Except in the East. Pete S as the new ASD and his minions he hires will ruin the East and cause more resignations.

The fact that they think a couple of changes in leadership will make the difference is just plain asinine. Those people left on their own. It's not like Sun implemented change. Any change that doesn't involve our business strategy and ethics at it's core is futile. That change has to start at AG before this place gains any ground.

Agreed! Keeping AG was worst decision. Contradicts Sun’s philosophy and it’s just a terrible message to send out that company will stand behind a crook.

I don’t think Sun has a real corporate philosophy other than to make profit through the continuous extraction of cost (and quality).
I’ve been here long enough to see they don’t even try to fake it. It’s all about making a profit at any cost, be it employees or patient safety.

2020 is my exit year.

Another example of arrogance here. Blame things on two salespeople (alleged Directors) who resigned, but the strategy, marketing, access, HUB/operations people remain the same.
And we expect a different result?
Insanity.

What division are you in

Why does illyuma have so much turnover yet the absorica team doesn’t? Biologics makes so much more money and from the base

Zero units times more money per unit, equals zero. Ilumya team has more product going out of date, then units benefiting patients. Absorica is a better isotretinoin and helps every patient treated. Absorica team has KOL respect. Ilumya team cannot even respect themselves. Pampered Big Pharma ego losers.

Absorica is a very marginally better product and no, it, like other isotretinoins, does not ‘help every patient treated’.
KOL respect ? Nah, it’s a branded generic that’s aged, and KOLs couldn’t be bothered. I mean when was the last time derms lined up to hear about isotretinoin?
Circa 1982 when Accutane was approved. Half of today’s derms were in diapers at the time.
