I can't wait to see how Kowa is going to weasel their way out of paying unemployment for the displaced reps that don't take advantage of the whopping $2500 relocation package. I'm not labor attorney, but I'm thinking that $2500 is their way out. "We offered you an equivalent job within the company and a GENEROUS relo package, but you refused to move your family across the country for this crap job. Sorry, no unemployment for you." But isn't that Kowa's MO? Screw people out of what they earned in any possible way. No severance, don't pay out all your vacation time, no FMLA, only accepting one week notice when someone leaves the company. Not surprising, but it's still a dick move...

I have to use all my vacation and personal days up to make my trip half across the country because my territory changed within 3 days of the notice that my territory was gone. Lots to do so I have to use all my time. Looks like lots of Friday and Monday sick days the rst of the year!

I really don't think distance matters. If they are making you use your days then you're nuts!! That is bs. But if your willing to move you must be making bonus. Their exit package for people was laughable.
