What is the impact of the MED team?

Aren’t the MEDS helping at all with leading the Ecosystems and people?
They will have a say so in Individual Measures after all. They must help the HDs and HED right?

The MED roles are ridiculous. I think the idea of the position was a solid one, but without having any decision making over medical collaborations or ability to provide the MSL team with direction, it is simply a waste. Most simply do not have the executive presence that our customers demand.

What does the ideal model look like?
Do you keep a medical presence in Ecosystem and let MSLs report up to them?
Or do you bag the entire thing or keep it the way it is?

All these made up positions are useless in generating any revenue or providing any value added service to customers. MED is useless, with zero leadership abilities, and zero impact on customers.

To operate efficiently you need;
TAM
MSL

Period….the rest is simply window dressing.

Tend to agree. I think most MEDs are smart and ambitious...and generally well-intentioned, but they are in a tough spot. They don't have the relationships or expertise to execute TA-specific medical strategy and being spread across portfolio ensures they are always running from one hot topic to the next. Now we are gonna blow the whole thing up again. MEDs should have to buck up and feel some pain, but I bet the MSL organization takes the bigger hit.

Where would you put access/reimbursment?
