What is the base/ total comp for speciality reps

Before you tell me to run away and not ask the question I am curious. What is the comp
plan for speciality reps? I worked PC for a small company and made a $55k base with top 20% bonus of $80k.


What's Lilly like if you step up to Speciality?

If you're thinking you can come to Lilly as a "Specialty" rep and make a lot of money...think twice. Lilly's pay scale (for specialty reps) is on par with primary care reps. We're a cheap company compared to others. However, considering what we do....we are the most overpaid employees on the planet. Consider yourself lucky if you have a pharm gig.
 


















I've been with Lilly for 4 years- had 2 years exp before coming here. Hired on as SR rep in Neuroscience specialty.

103k base and 21k bonus at plan- I was a bit higher this year at 26k.

I don't think Lilly pays its specialty reps like primary care reps. We actually pay really well. And contrary to what people on this board say its a great company with great management from the bottom up. And your job is pretty easy when you have great products like we do!
 






I'm a Lilly Oncology rep. Been at Lilly 7 years. Base at $107K and $27K at plan for bonus. Have always made more than that amount a year for bonus. But no raise this year for any of us this year!!!!
 






MSK specialty rep- 6 years with Lilly- executive rep- 111k base 21k bonus at plan. Way over paid for going out and socializing with docs. I've had 4 years top 15% rankings so I'm probably the exception- I was hired as a Sr. rep with 2 and a half years experience.

Sucks no raises this year. But I've been looking outside Lilly and I'm not finding any other companies that can match our base salary.

I dont accept my salary. I send it all to Obama every 2 weeks. I trust him and want him to invest it wisely in the public schools. good day.
 
























I've been here 18 months. I'm pulling in $10K a month, plus great benefits, a company car and a massive expense account. The leadership here is second to none. I have a Porsche, girlfriends uptown and downtown, and the money is everywhere.

Just because you dont earn as much as I do doesn't mean you're stupid, you're obviously just feelin' angry and jealous!!! You need to know how to play the game on this business, the important customers are not your doctors, it's how you manage you're internal customers that make the difference in your career. Advice...
