What is Next for GI?

Wow! The ax came down in a big way... What is next for this division? Can't make a claim, can't sell vs. competitors.

Now no management.

Should we update our resumes?

what a joke they just made management the fall guys for promotion of things they did 2 years ago, when it was actually ok to do it. Those guys were some of the best in the company and now were stuck with adsett motivating the troops???? and Bob running a zone..???? Lord help us all....

GI and renal are taking the fall for ADHD - they are under the feds microscope. Look at the numbers at GI folks - so few Rxs - small market - that many reps - unlimited lunch budgets?
Really?
The whole industry is struggling - and it will only get worse!

He should've been a write in, how often do you see west coast leading the way. I guess rodger and the whole marketing team should be canned too then because they told everyone to use maintenance. Mh and bs didn't do anything to get fired either. Bs was awesome to work for. Mh seemed cool too.

Thanks Nick for the input but the rest of the EZ couldn't stand working for your boy.

I gotta agree with the other guy... Yeah I'm sure dans plan was to get fired and take everyone down including Todd! Come on man this was above all of them and had to do with messaging relayed from top down.

Does anyone know the cause of everyone on top to get fired, rumor is it was something big. Also from what I gather a zone director, two regional directors and national sales got canned is that true.

Well the word inside corporate is they guy that use to run Renal will be coming over to be the new VP of sales. I would imagine he will bring his ZD team over as well. My friend from Renal said he is a good guy, but did not have a lot of interaction with the sales team over the past 2 years. Also said that he may not be the most compliant leader as he was pretty vocal about doing whatever is necessary to drive sales. Obviously that tactic did not turn out too well for Renal.

Anyone else hear anything?
