What is connection between PF and ex COB?

I heard when he was removed from COB position she applied at medivation. Any truth to that and if so why did it seem to coincide with removal of COB. Any insight would be appreciated.

COB = Chairman of the Board

DB (ex-cob), PF, and RR all go back to Genentech days.

According to RR, he wanted to retire instead of coming to DNDN. It was DB that called him, asking him to come here to "straighten things out". RR did it as a favor to DB (and for the money). Hence why RR only has a 2 year contract.

To answer the OP, hope this clarifies. It also explains why PF, the disaster that she is, is untouchable at DNDN and how she even got hired in the first place.
 






PF was hired before RR got here. We can thank Todd for pushing to get her hired. He never did his due diligence brcause he was too busy dancing and staying out late. But ultimately it was Hans who hired her. Incompetence breeds incompetence.

Timeline is correct, but it was DB, the former COB that brought PF on board.
 






So, here is what JJ, new CEO should do if he is for real.
He should get rid of RR for the following reasons:
RR has lied in his resume and his application regarding his past experience and his education.
RR had been fired from Genentech both as an employee and as a consultant.
RR was fired from Sanofi.
RR was fired from Bayer, lawsuite is available online.
RR has been engaged in various illegal activities including but not limited to Medicare fraud while here in Dendreon.
RR is full of S***, no one in EC, except Mitch voted for his hire. He was calling and begging EC members, HR head as well as MG to get a job. He had received his pink sheet from Bayer and knew no one, no company in right mind would hire him since a simple background check would have shown all his lies and crimes.
So he had begged and begged MG and DB, to give him a job with the promise that he will increase sales, again, end justified means for RR and MG and DB had agreed that it is the only way to increase sales. That is why RR has been allowed to run wild and run the safety Registry and using that sign up with greedy physicians who all they care is to make money and that is why RR and Dendreon have committed crimes including but not limited to Medicare fraud.
So, here is your chance mr Johnson, new CEO. If you are for real, you know this is true and you will get rid of RR and those like him immediately to send a signal to outside that you care and you are for law and Dendreon not for criminals.
 






No one who is still working here and under federal investigation will be fired. That would be the CEO showing his hand. This is why MG is still here and that is why RR is still here.

Keeping them employed here while they are being investigated for criminal activities is also a form of cooperation in my opinion.

The results of these investigatons is what will be the end of their pharmaceutical careers and most lilely their freedom.

In fact, there are only 35 in existence. I have one. PF and RR do not. And neither was at the Rituxan launch meeting in Whistler. If I could post pictures I would and two folks would be missing from that photo, guess who?

I suggest you call Dendreon HR as well as Ayres. An earlier post said HR wants to know more about this. Don't know if it was really HR but it couldnt hurt. Congrats on being the owner of one of those watches. You don't need people like RR and PF watering down your important achievements.

Federal investigation will note the fact that current Dendreon leadership continue their criminal activities including but not limited to keeping those who have lied and broken Federal laws. I am not sure this is best from DNDN. I understand why MG and DB have stayed part of the Board since they are looking for Dendreon to pay their legal fees but RR and those at his level, that will not be necessary.
Knowingly and continuously breaking law under his, JJ, watch would not be positive for Dendreon and his current CEO, Johnson.
 






To be completely honest I think this investigation is more about MG and DB and stock fraud (illegal insider trading and keeping the share price falsely inflated for almost a year) than about Rosen.

I doubt RR can be held accountable for medicare fraud. Dendreon, the company and those who lead this company can be hed accountable for Medicare fraud. Doubt RR can.
 






Not true. Under RR orders and his leadership, commercial took over and started promotion of PROCEED Safety Registry. This was a mandated FDA Registry that was handld by other functions in Dendreon.
RR and his team, under his directions, raised participation fee in the registry by more than 6-8 times in order to attract physicians to make money not only by writing the Provenge but also by participating in a simple Registry. Under this, a Physician would be able to make 9-10K instead of 5-6K per patient. This is why the number of prescribers and prescribtions have increased and therefore has less to do with efficacy and etc. Most of these Physicians were not willing to write any Provenge and had not written any Provenge and only reason they agreed to write Provenge was when Dendreon offered them a bundled approach of Registry, its subprotocols and obviousely ASP+6.
Just look into it. Now, they are adding more sub-protocols in to the Registry and paying even more money to Physicians to write Provenge.
In general, Medicare is paying 6 K per patients and additionally Dendreon another 3-6 K per patients in order for Physicians to write this therapy. It is not bad for few hours of work. These are the Physicians who have no conciousand should be worried about medicare fraud and loss of their Medical license as well as their practice.
This is why BW, former Chief Compliance Officer was let go. Beacuse he was trying to stop all these illegal activities.
FEDs are aware of this and have the listing of all those physicians or as Dendreon calls them high prescribers.

You know more about those kid of details than I do but my main point was that ultimately it is CEO and EC who are responsible for this kind of activity. Dendreon was a 5 billion market cap company. It is mandatory for companies to have internal controls that police its employees. This wasn't a rogue employee in a store taking kickbacks from a customer unbeknownst to management. What you are describing are things MG and EC had to be aware of or SHOULD have been aware of because companies MUST have internal controls that police the kind of things you describe.

It wasn't Rosen who chose to run a company without a Chief Compliance Officer for 4 months. It wasn't Rosen who put together a faulty or not followed internal control policy for this company. It wasn't Rosen who let all these things occur. It is people like RH, MG and the rest of EC who were ultimately responsible.

Justice I'm sure will find RR, but imo RR was not the person who was responsible for policing RR.

It must be true. MG said the following:


"Our commercial team is led by our Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Operations, Robert Rosen, whose extensive oncology experience includes the launch of several major products including Eloxatin, Herceptin, and Nexavar. Rob fills the gap in our organization that has existed for approximately six months and we are glad to have him aboard."
 












RR pulled the same registry stuff all the way back to Genentech. He over paid MDs to prescribe and then participate in the registry programs. Same stuff....different drug!
