What happened to Shire?







This (dis)corp has turned out to be a bunch of monkies trying to F--k a football . The reason the stock is so high is because the field is geting the shaft. Good luck field..........
 






It blows because of the sales leadership team has come in and shit all over the dynamics of the company. Why are we using a goal system when we work in a cyclical market? Goals increased week over week when the volume goes down during certain time points of the year. Dont you find it a bit strange when most of the sales reps are at 99% of goal? We are now managed by useless reports such as the call guideance report. Why does this report not reflect time out of territory. YOU WILL NEVER BE AT GOAL WITH THE CALL PLAN!!!!!!Another great example is the realignment at the first of the year. All of these doctors were supposed to be removed that could not been seen or were ranked needlessly in high order. Now we are taking out doctors out that we can not see, screwing up the volumes once again, which will probably lead to another realignment.(more money) Its seems to me that for what we spent on needless realigments, new positions to coordinate stats/reports, we could have drilled water wells all over the 3rd world. It will be really interesting to see what Gallups turns up. If the Big Pharma model is broken, why is it that Shire has a hard-on for it?

Does any successful company stay the same year after year? Anyone can complain and be negative; What do you propose?

That we stop hiring people from outside of Shire to be RDs and ZDs. Shire used to care or at least act like they cared about their employees. Anyone who has been here for more than 5 years will tell you that we used to have a positive corporate culture which has now been corrupted.
