What do the KAMs do all day?

Wow! Seems like the KAMS all do the same thing across the country! Mine literally never leaves their house. Doesn't even go with me on any of my appointments. They are not responsible for breakfast or lunch in-services including all the logistics sign-in sheets, expense reports and on and on. They are not responsible for speaker programs. They don't develop any key opinion leaders. They only focus on one or two hospitals and nothing else. They don't feel they have any sales responsibility whatsoever. Honestly, they aren't even needed. The TBS does everything, including finding alternative sites of care.

my KAM used to sell oxycontin. that should tell you everything about them.
