What determines whether you stay or go

Only honest answers please. Someone has to know this by now. What are CTLs asked about reps?
Will numbers come into play? How much will geography weigh into placement? Any CTL who has opted out could fill us in please with some information. Thank you

Disregard all the bs comments, ctl's have absolutely zero influence as to who stays and who goes. The competency reviews are simply to appease HR and avoid lawsuits, this paperwork simply gets sent to the cloud in neverland. This is a geo matrix model and current rep salary has nothing to do with it. "Lookbacks" are key. If there are 10 reps going for 4 spots you can guarantee an Endo Rep and Hospital Rep are placed first. If you have been in the same pc geo for a long time you are screwed. In this scenario they prefer 'hoparound henry' over others. Henry has proven he can pick up new assignments quick, has worked across product lines and can manage huge geographies. Henry is adaptable and is used to change. If you only have pc reps in your area brownie points are given to those with mba' s, mha' s, etc. Also, there may be others way outside your geo who get placed based on this criteria. Don't be surprised if Henry has to drive an hour to get the job down the street from you. Finally, anyone with 3-4 or more choices are golden and will be placed. If you were only given 1 or 2 choices then you are a goner.

Nailed it !
I’m a 24 yr. vet. Been thru many reorganization’s/ layoffs, and this is it. Proof positive that M/Pharma has very little regard for reps. We’re just here to provide live ads to the office staff.
Hope I don’t make the cut this time. Sick of this shit. Will take my money and run.
Soon Medicare will be allowed to negotiate prices and it will destroy Pharma as we know it today. Greed always gets you in the end.

the most important factor is who lives most central to the territory or the territories that are eventually carved. This protects the organization. Displacing people due to age, salary or subjective opinions that are factored into MBOs are worthless in this scenario.

To the 'Nailed it' poster above. You say that you are sick of this and hope you get cut but you were given a choice of 'Opting-Out'.... why didn't you take it? You know the next round may not be so generous with you! The severance could be much less. I would have Opted Out if I were you.

The job is barely a Customer Service job anymore...Max salary for experience should be no more than 75K. No numbers, because the number are not any good any way. No ranking, why? Because it's not sales. Matrix should be to just make 7/8 calls a day to service offices..Samples, expired and managed care update.
