What are we going to buy with $300 million?

As a rep that doesn't have the in-house connections that others do, what are the best-guesses about products to buy? I'm assuming Pain, but I'm curious what others think.

Just bought a pain product - Lazanda. Don't think they are looking in that area as they want to give Lazanda time to succeed.

Really? Cambia? Why? With that kind of money one would buy something that's selling and that docs actually see a need and that would actually write. What a bunch of idiots your upper management are...I bet they are giving half of that money to the share holders. Screwing up everybody else.

We are quiet because our fearless leaders are getting ready to make a timely announcement, just in time for Christmas. Rumor is JV is being retained. Sell stock now.

They screwed up; their 'prize' acquisition is no longer on the table, and now they are scrambling for a Plan B; this stock will test $7 in the next 90 days. Either that, or someone is going to buy their sorry asses out.

Can someone please tell me why JV and SG are still in place? Doesn't anyone at all question the incredibly high turnover in the Sales force over the last two years? What about the F**ked up department known as Sales Ops? Does anyone really think that JV has done a "wonderful" job leading or inspiring his team? The air in Newark remains TOXIC, yet the rank & file seem to have resigned themselves to the fact that Jim S is utterly clueless to the stink below him, or is merely inept at fixing it. There are lots of great pieces, but the leadership is pathetic, and cannot see beyond their own noses.

Good people exist at the DM/RBD level in Sales, good people exist below the monster known as JV; but the two boobs known as JV and SG will doom this company to mediocrity, or simply cap the performance in time for another company to gobble us up.

Good luck to all.

Just heard Cambia is now off the table and they are scrambling for something else before Dec 31! Thank God we didn't get that crap drug! Maybe now we can get something that actually will sell.

CAMBIA Spend $300 annually on promotion, problem is, sales will only hit $50 million, until you jack up the price annually for the next 10 years, then we break even. That dog doesn't hunt.
