What about the LTC, managed care, and others

There are alot of non-field personel in our area that I wonder what affect downsizing will have on them. Most are former managers, and still make manager pay. Will they be kept because they are useless.

I don't agree they are useless. Many times it depends on the initiative the reps take to involve them. Just my opion, LTC might make it because account based selling is where we are headed. BRMs are propably in trouble and I talked to RAM who told me they were being downsized by 35%.

Hospital reps are being mapped with the rest of us as there will no longer be a Hospital field force. BRMs might be mapped with us as well. The verdict isnt out on them yet. Not sure about LTC account managers. Since the company is putting such a large target on Exelon Patch and nursing homes I would tend to believe they will be kept.

Account managers are going to be lumped in with FLMs for lay offs...LTC is a waste of money for NPC anyway!

It's amazing how any manager is a waste, FLM, BRM, LTC AM, RAM, MD's, etc. during these times, especially for all the disgruntle employees. CP always attracts negative people, including times when everyone is impacted during rough times.

Good point. Always some one else's fault. The poster is always the victim who everyone else is out to get!!

Very true and agree! Yes, my FLM can be hard some times, but the majority, he's been there for the whole team. They do want their people to succeed and even develop them personally. My LTC manager, had done great supporting our team and hurdles he's faced with the Pharmacies. An also, my BRM has been there for us when needed to help office staff with reimbursements.

Good luck to everyone.
