Where is the SEVERANCE and Cobra! Genentech should be ashamed! All the weekly calls we had and they never said it would be a waiting period before severance was paid out and that there would be a lapse in coverage in our benefits and we would have to resign up and wait for the paperwork from a mystery company! Dont get sick people or have a accident you will be screwed!

That's "in the mid --- st" Also, your benefits will get paid but you will have to submit your bills after paying cash or getting your Docs or Pharmacy to submit at a later date. I do admit though that not putting the benefits thing in our stacks of paperwork was a major screwup.
 






My severance was paid very quickly. I got it over a week ago. As far as the benefits, all you have to do is tell the doctor or hospital to submit all claims after Cobra kicks in. You will have coverage from January 19th on.
