Hey everyone let’s get real. We don’t have a mission statement or a vision with any substance at all and you all know it!
We are simply a company of old Merck reject products and people. This is hard to hear for some of us I’m sure but most of us knew this from the point the split was announced.
We have senior leaders in global, region and country management, who’s sole output is sharing on LinkedIn, which women’s event they’ve attended, how many interviews with women’s magazines they have conducted, how proud they are to have a sister or a mother or a daughter (and wives in most cases as this female orientated company has mainly male MDs)… all of a communication script that could have been written by a 5 year old.
Tired of seeing Kevin Ali pretending to care about women’s lives, we all know he is just trying to turn around growth so he can get the hell out of here. All the decent leaders that came over have already left or are preparing to leave.
I’ve been in the industry for close to 30 years and in my entire journey, never seen so many useless people in one place. We do nothing and our business of old generics, repackaged to be “women focused” is disingenuous.
Every grade level here is the equivalent of two below at Merck. Our executive directors would be associate directors in a real pharma company.
from someone staying here for the pension!!
