White males had new titles too. The ones I know didn’t mark them as promotions.The answer is pretty simple when you understand Lilly’s motives. And it has nothing to do with promoting talent. I have been watching all of these “Associate” promotions on LinkedIn and guess what? Very few are white males. This is about giving us some more diversity boxes to check. Nothing more.
