Were you screwed by EXAS?

We all know what's been happening at EXAS the last few years. Shift towards the (failed) big pharma model, rapid expansion, shrinking then expanding - all the while continuing to hire new employees with no transparency. So many employees seemingly have been screwed, either by design, crap management, or plain incompetence. This company hasn't shown a profit since it went public in 2001. What kind of company keeps a CEO for 13 years with this record?

I am an ex-EXAS employee. Whether you were forced out, left on your own, or "severanced", I want to hear your story. If you accepted any compensation for leaving, you MAY have signed away your right to claims. I was hired under fraudulent pretenses and am pursuing legal action. If you suspect any fraud or misrepresentation in your hiring, check with your own attorney to see if you did waive your right to redress. Still, I want to hear your story. Let me be clear that I am not soliciting for anyone to join my suit. I’d just like to share notes and encourage you all to consult with your own employment attorney. Many of them have free consults.

I am using an anonymous email EXASlawsuits@protonmail.com to hear your stories. Please email me to share yours. Create your own anonymous email if you want. I will undoubtedly get plenty of BS and snide comments below, but whatever - hate comes with the territory. I have a strong case based on verifiable facts already - as I suspect MANY of you do as well.

How were you hired under false pretenses? What were you promised? If you want us to give you credibility and possibly send you an email, you need to tell us more of your story.

Ha! I don't blame the OP for not showing their cards here. Smart to remain anonymous here like everybody else. If the poster is real and has a lawyer advising him or her, I wish them the best. I agree this is a house of cards!

being hired under false pretenses is a claim very few can make. Most likely it’s total bullshit and will end up with ES lawyers wiping their shoulders clean of another millennial who’s bulldozer mommy didn’t knock down all the obstacles on their way. Yawn

OP here. Still accepting stories. So much has happened in the last 5 months! Layoffs, possible more layoffs and profitability promises! Happy Holidays to all!

Case going nowhere? Thanks for updating us on what a pathetic POS you are. We all read your filing, you should fire your attorney. This is laughable at best.

You gotta be kidding me.

You were laid off by Pfizer and invited to work at Exact Sciences without even an interview, and now you're suing because you were laid off?

I don't think you understand what fraud means. You don't deserve compensation because the company made a mistake by hiring too many people.

In the meantime, go find a real job. Which may be damn hard with your name on a lawsuit with such a ridiculous case. You might also want to take "manager" off linkedin profile since you were a rep.
