Yes, all employees are required to do this. It is a hassle but just go ahead and do it. It has no relation to layoffs. Were all employees asked to do this?
No it is not to catch people who are not co-habitating. That is absurd. It is mainly to expose insurance fraud. No big deal. It’s mainly to catch people who claim to have a domestic partner on their insurance but the “partner” isn’t actually co-habitating with the employee. Basically looking for insurance fraud. Everyone is being asked to verify. We all benefit by exposing the frauds.

Correct but Co-habit literally means living under the same roof. Co-habit for insurance purposes is unmarried and living under the same roof. Talk to a benefits counselor.People who are not co-habitating but claiming to do so are committing insurance fraud.
Layoffs and verification are not related. If layoffs are imminent they have nothing to do with verification. The last layoffs affected US Oncology and they were botched. This time around the right people should be laid off but it seems unlikely because the most cunning and lazy start making deals and push the unaware working people out. There is no accountability in senior leadership.Layoffs <EOM>
