It makes sense ... the corruption is weaved into the fabric here. The last two Taro CEOs ... one was on 60 Minutes for price fixing and the next CEO of Taro
settled an insider trading case.

To whom it may concern: I just saw the 60 minutes piece about your company and others and I must say that I am pissed off. Whoever works for these crooks should go to jail and be held accountable. I don’t care if you have nothing to do with it. You’re sitting there in the office getting paid (sure it’s a high salary too) based on the high prices your company charges. I have to skip days of medication because of you people. Makes sense your owned by Indians. Crooks. Damn crooks. Go back to India!

Every single pharma company operates to make a profit! Business 101! I get it about people not affording drugs (even with commercial insurance) and having to sacrifice medication or something else. I totally get it. Yes pricing needs to be reevaluated but again this is a business. The companies featured on 60 Minutes haven’t done anything that others haven’t done before. The whole pharma and even device world is out of control but shit it’s nothing new.

When you’re in exec positions you discuss nothing but the weather if you find yourself in the presence of a competitor.
Pharma Business Law 101.

And you certainly do not meet with, text or call a competitor.

So no, not everyone does what Sun/Taro did.

This might be the one that bites Sun hard. Once the Feds have a ticket to open Sun’s kimono, there’s a lot of that’ll be exposed. Things they knew were wrong.

1. Insider trading
2. Sun settles with the Indian regulators
3. We do related party transactions unabated.
4. We do price fixing

Do you see anything wrong that we do ? Nothing... Nada... We will prevail.
