Welcome to the Ventiv company board. Anyone is welcome to post here, whether they are an employee of the company or not. You may post anonymously without registering (registered users please logout before posting if you wish to do so), or with a registered username.

Managers and reps are encouraged to communicate with fellow employees here. If you are interested, we can also provide you with a private, password-protected board for your pod, district, etc. Just email webmaster@cafepharma.com for the details.

aug 31 was the last day of the Bayer contract.... 2 weeks pay and then you're screwed... i can't believe it !! Hopefully, they will put me on another contract or... i will have to find another job... which means training... AGAIN

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Ventiv? I have applied online several times with no response... I have had interviews with other pharm co's so I don't think that it is my resume..... Currently I even have a contingent employment offer from Merck but with the Vioxx mess I have been put on hold at least for a few more weeks until they decide what to do within the company......
And on Ventiv's website they do have job postings for my area....... Please Help!!!!!

What do you mean? I just accepted a position in Florida. You got me freaked out but I need a job so please explain in detail. Is this your situation or is this company wide?

You have to still be employed by the company when bonuses are paid out, but if the contract ends, they will pay your bonus. The bonus is usually paid out late-like 3-6 months after the quarter.

Ventiv was Synder Health Care Sales...before that was MMD started by two jewish cookie bakers who hit the mother load and sold at the right time to Dan Snyder who could not find his ass with a flash light and two dogs snifing at it...and you wonder why it's fucked up.....COME ON>>>>>>!!!!!!

Venitv is one of the most unethical companies there is to work for. The recruiters tell you lies to get you to come on board like "The contract is going to roll over in "x" time frame.." When in reality they know good and well that they have had very few, if any, contracts roll over!

On top of that, you have to be here when they pay out bonuses, otherwise they keep yours....this would go to reason as to why they are making a profit. After all, the bigger the contracts, and the more people that leave or get fired, the more bonuses they keep and put into their own pockets....I wonder if Wall Street knows that little tid bit of information???

Also, the name Ventiv on your resume is almost a certain epic disaster!! If you stay on a Ventiv contract for any length of time, then you almost get "black balled" from the industry. Manufactures will think that you are a lazy, worthless wacka-doo (like most big pharma reps) and a sample dropper at that. Then you will not even be considered for a position.

If you get a call or email from a Ventiv recruiter wanting you to come work for them, you are better off drawing unemmployment and paying for Cobra Health Care rather then working at Ventiv, and paying a ridiculous amount of money for their so called health insurance!

I think that cleaning out a clogged sewer line would be a mmore enjoyable career then working here!!!

Quack, Quack!!

This is the place where all the disgruntled employees come.

The truth about boards like this is that things are not always as bad as they seem. Things also aren't as good as company people always try to make them seem as well.

Reality is always somewhere in between. Ventiv is a great place to get a foot into the industry or go if you do not want all the hassles of big pharma. However, it is not the long term solution ($, stability, etc.).
