I wondering if you could tell me what maxifed is and what it is used for

Maxifed = crap
used for = taking up space in the sample closests.

May I suggest that you ask your pharmacist where the sudafed is and take that instead. I can't believe these guys still make Maxifed.

Someone must have had a really bad experience to be so negative! To warn someone is a good thing, but any person who would listen to such biased opinions without makeing opions about this company on their own is not a smart person. I am a new employee and my experience so far has been great. No I don't make $50K a year but new products are coming out within the next 6months ( products that are not cough and cold), we get a car allowance and a gas card, and all the people I have worked with have been great.

I have an interview with MCR in a few days. I am getting a bad feeling about this company from this forum. Any former reps that have had a good experience? Is it worth pursuing as a way to get experience in pharma? Any honest advice is encouraged and welcomed.

Truth is you'll get better experience working any sales job. Big Pharma companies don't care if you have experience working for a smaller company. I made that mistake and it was hard to get out of MCR. I had been told by several recruiters that sales experience is sales experience...and you don't want this headache...SERIOUSLY

I recently interviewed for a position there. How can pay someone only commission on such a weak product line. I mean honestly "cough syrup".
And you dont really even sell to Dr.s you sell to pharmacist. This job would be perfect for a kid straight out of college with no work experience but not for someone like myself.

They will tell you will get all those things but what you will get is deeper in debt, driving your own car.

And commission? What's that? I worked for this company several years back and never recieved a check.

You must really suck as I have gotten several checks more than 5k
